This employee cultural survey is the product of the Gallup companies research into high preforming companies. In the book Good to Great written by ——–They analyzed all of the performance surveys and came to the conclusion the these 20 some questions defined cultures that support and deliver high levels of efficiency and employee satisfaction.  When you read these survey questions write down your score–  [SCORE 1 AS LOW AND 5 AS VERY GOOD]- if you average for all questions are  4.5 – 5.0 you are working in a high performance culture. If you average score for all survey questions is between 4.0-4.5 you are working in a good culture.  If your average score is below 4.0 ,there is a good chance there is conflict and low employee satisfaction–Look at the questions that you scored low and ask your self how hard it would be to raise that score. What behaviors could you do as a manager /leader to chance that score and add increased production and greater employee satisfaction to you work group?

Your manager is defined as the person responsible for conducting your performance review discussion, even if you have been reporting to that person for only a short time.  This refers to your current store manager as of January 1, 2007.  For store managers, this refers to your current district manager (or regional operations manager).  If you work in more than one store, please respond to the questions based on your primary store only.
